Blue

I love art blogs: https://artrelatedblog.wordpress.com/2017/03/26/zirconium-blue-and-cerulean-comparison/

I’m not an artist, although I’d love to be one. I’ve dabbled in art-ish things, like drawing and painting, but mostly I stick with crafts such as scrapbooking, home decorating, and crocheting.

That means I don’t know a lot about what it takes to make great art.

So, of course, I created a character who’s an artist. Seems reasonable.

I won’t bore you with the circumstances, but as part of a scene of the book I had reason to choose a specific color blue. I knew there were a lot of blues, but the different shades seemed endless. Plus, the “same” color, ie, having a particular name, can vary between color purposes and paints and other things.

So today, I’ll share …. blue, and my favorite, the purple-tinted Cornflower.
